Rye Watersports is an RYA Training Centre based on a large coastal lake offering RYA tuition in Sailing, Windsurfing and Winging from March to November. Located 2 miles from Camber Sands, one of the top Windsurfing & Kitesurfing locations in the South of England.
The role requires a flexible approach, working 5 days a week over weekends & bank holidays. Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. We are one of the leading RYA Winging Centres in the UK so staff will have the opportunity to Wing and ultimately get qualified as an RYA WingSurf & WingFoil Instructor.
Duties Include:
- Assisting with daily operations of the centre as Duty Senior Instructor
- Delivery of RYA Courses within the National & Youth Schemes
- Ensure the smooth running of school group visits
- Taking ownership for the upkeep & maintenance of all equipment
- Taking a leading role in staff development and Powerboat Training
Qualifications:
- RYA Senior Instructor (Dinghy or Windsurf)
- Valid First Aid Qualification
Desirable Qualifications:
- RYA Dinghy Instructor
- RYA Start Windsurf Instructor
- RYA Intermediate Windsurf Instructor
- RYA WingSurf / WingFoil Instructor
- BSUPA Level 1 or Level 2 Instructor
- RYA Powerboat Instructor
