February 25 Newsletter
All New…
We may have been a little quiet over January… as we’ve been mulling over design plans, new booking systems and new courses for 2025!
Now we’re SUPER excited to start the countdown to unveil our brand new Aquaglide Aquapark to you all!
The design plans have been finalised for this ultimate floating adventure, combining thrilling obstacles and giant slides, into an action-packed water playground.
Opening on Saturday 3rd May!
Early Bird tickets are on sale from TODAY— use code Open25 at checkout to get £20 tickets for just £15 (25% off) for sessions running May 3rd-5th.
This addition to our centre and other activities really is the cherry on the cake. We can’t wait to build it into our offering for kids & adults activities as well as all our school groups.
New for Spring – Refresher Courses for kids and adults, all starting early season.
Has it been a while since you went sailing, why not come to one of our refresher days? Let our instructors help you get back on the water, in one of our fusions or topaz. You will have access to a basic sailing course marked out by our buoys. This will allow you to improve your wind awareness and sailing techniques to become a more proficient sailor. If you want to work on something in particular do let your instructor know. Whether you are a beginner or someone looking to learn more advanced techniques you are invited to get back on the water.
These can be booked as a stand alone day or bolt on another day at a £25 discount with the code SailingRefresher at checkout.
Swimming will soon be back at the lake and we can’t wait to see you all again. Our regular daily 9 – 11 am sessions worked so well last season so we will be repeating with more of the same this year.
Sunday Morning Sessions – 6th April – 11th May
EVERY morning from May the 14th 9-11am.
We have two offerings for swimmers who would like coaching. Greg Russel will be back every Sunday morning from 6th April, offering his free informal coaching sessions between 9-11am. He had 37 people take up his generous coaching offer and there became quite a regular group of people who all got to know each other, and what sort of swim journey they were on, which was really nice.
We also have Sam Redford from Love Open Water Swimming in London offering coaching on a more formal basis. He will be coaching 2 sessions per month on weekends from May, these will be split between those just getting into open water swimming and those wanting to train for events such as The Bantham Swoosh and The Dart 10km for example.
Keep following our Socials and reading the Newsletters for confirmed dates and booking options. Please note any Swim Class Passes roll over into this year as they are valid for 12 months from the date purchased.
This means you can be entirely flexible with how you plan your children’s activities through the holiday time. Both RYA structured sessions or more play orientated… you get to choose what you feel is right for your child.
