Description:

The internationally recognised RYA WingSurf & WingFoil Instructor qualification will allow you to teach the RYA WingSurfing & WingFoiling scheme. 

The 5 days have been developed to take you from a competent WingFoiler to learn to teach in a safe and fun manor, following the RYA structure.

Syllabus:

  • You will learn different teaching techniques afloat and ashore.
  • Candidates on the course will demonstrate competence in course preparation, delivery and management, as well as customer liaison.

Pre Requisites:

  • Be aged 16 years or older
  • Be either an RYA Dinghy or Windsurf instructor.
  • Hold a RYA Powerboat Level 2 (PB2) certificate (please check our Powerboat Level 2 page if you need training)
  • A valid 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work qualification
  • RYA Safe and Fun certificate. This is is an online certificate run directly by the RYA which must be completed before any RYA instructor qualifications are awarded. More information can be found on the RYA website 
  • Active RYA membership
  • Comfortable WingSurfing on all points of sail
  • Foiling ability to the Level of RYA Wingfoiling Sustained Flights
