Rye Watersports is an RYA Training Centre based on a large coastal lake offering RYA tuition in Sailing, Windsurfing, and Winging from March to November. Located 2 miles from Camber Sands, one of the top Sailing, Windsurfing, and kitesurfing locations in the South of England. We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable individuals to join our team in 2024!
We welcome applications from people who can build relationships and bonds with our customers as well as instructors who can work with our existing team to deliver safe and excellent quality sessions. We are one of the Leading RYA Wing Centres in the UK so staff will have the opportunity to Wing and ultimately get qualified as an RYA WingSurf & WingFoil Instructor. There will also be the opportunity for the right candidate to lead our multiactivity Kids Camps running throughout the summer. The role requires a flexible approach, working 5 days a week over weekends & bank holidays. The successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Positions are available for couples.
Duties Include:
- Delivery of RYA Courses within the National & Youth Schemes •
- Assisting with the upkeep & maintenance of all equipment •
- Working on the land and providing excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- RYA Dinghy Instructor
- Valid First Aid Qualification
Desirable Qualifications:
- RYA Start Windsurfing Instructor
- RYA WingSurf or WingFoil Instructor
- RYA Senior Instructor
- BSUPA Level 1 or 2 Instructor
- RYA Safety Boat
