Our First Mental Health Swim In January

Last Sunday morning saw the first of our wild swims organised with Annie from the charity Mental Health Swims.  We welcomed a fabulous group of brave swimmers in a mix of swimsuits and wetsuits.  Despite the chilly temperatures, the sun made an appearance and it was brilliant to see the buzz and rush of endorphins the swim gave the group. Although spaces are very limited for this free monthly MHS event, we are starting our regular wild swim sessions again this Sunday 29th January, click to book. Now you can get your cold water fix should the seas be too rough or the tides too low.  Take a look to find out more about the Mental Health Swims Charity or follow Annie’s Instagram for local events: @mhs_rye

Assistant Windsurfing Instructor Training

We’re excited to get our Assistant Windsurfing Instructor training going for the 2023 Season.  With Maggie’s daughter Rosie qualifying as a Senior Windsurfing Instructor last Autumn, she plans to bring on our junior team this spring.  Through this course, students will be introduced to the  RYA Start Windsurfing Instructor program.  By using a combination of learning whilst assisting our experienced instructors and solid training from us, we can be assured that our coaching team will deliver brilliant courses both now and in the future at Rye.
