Water Sport Instructor Courses

Before you take on the RYA dinghy instructor course you must complete the RYA Dinghy Pre-Assessment. This is to ensure your ability is up to scratch. We will walk you through each step of what to expect from the instructor course to prepare you in advanced.

If you are passionate about sailing, why not train to become a qualified RYA Dinghy Instructor. You’ll need to be a competent, experienced sailor. The Dinghy Instructor course will show you have to teach both the National Sailing and Youth Sailing Schemes for adults and kids.

The Start Windsurfing Instructor course is perfect for those keen windsurfers that are looking to teach the National Windsurfing and Youth Windsurfing schemes. You will need to be to an intermediate non-planning standard before taking this course.

The RYA Intermediate Instructor Course takes you from being a confident RYA Start Windsurfing Instructor to being able to teach the Intermediate Planing & Non Planing Courses along with Stage 3 & 4. Ideally you are of RYA Advanced Windsurfing standard, but this course can still be taken if you’re at planing level. 

Winging is the new next best thing! Get ahead of the game and become an RYA WingSurf and Wingfoil Instructor. This course will take you from a competent WingFoiler to being able to the teach RYA WingSurfing scheme along with the RYA WingFoiling scheme. A great few days on the water! 

The RYA Powerboat Level 2 handling course aims to teach both seamanship skills and boat handling. This is an in depth introduction to driving a powerboat focusing on low speed handling, high speed manoeuvres, man overboard recovery and an collision regulations at sea.

The RYA Dinghy Assistant Instructor Course is your first steps to becoming a fully qualified RYA Dinghy instructor. The course is perfect for those experienced water sport users in your chosen sport needing hands on tuition training.
